Additional Warranty Statements
-
Waiting for months to address an issue will allow water to work under the surface and may require a completely new surface to be applied.
-
Surface is chip resistant, not chip proof—just like real porcelain.
-
I highly recommend soft bath toys to prevent possible scratches.
-
I recommend doing all plumbing and tile and Flooring work before you have the bathtub refinished—let me be the last one in.

The worst offenders for destroying new, painted, or restored surfaces I have found are:
-
barkeepers friend
-
scrub pads (scrub pads and magic eraser cleaners wear the surface)
-
comet
-
soft scrub
-
citrus cleaners - They contain an acid from skins on oranges, lemons, or limes called d-limonene this is a harsh acid that removes part of the surface allowing it to "clean". Basically these are etching away at the surface, even brand new, factory surfaces.
-
cleaners with vinegar and heavy bleach. These eat away at the glaze over time. Even on brand new factory finishes!
-
Additional Information

-
Past customers always get at a discounted rate!
-
Does not cover anything outside of my control such as: Caulking replacement (although I use a 40 year no mildew caulk) foundation movement, damage to surface or installation issues that was not known or addressed at the time of service. Water hidden behind tiles, ruptured or broken pipes, acts of God, use of bathmats, damage caused by chemical reactions (such as clogged drains as an example). Anything I do not have control over is not covered.
-
Peeling and Fading from normal use is covered with an $80 trip charge. Any other service that may be needed during the 6 year period will be heavily discounted.
-
Only 1 thing will ever cause a warranty to be completely voided a hostile work environment. I will not be talked down to or subjected to behavior that would be considered hostile. All Sales Final. I have the final say on any warranty claim. I never have or would talk down to or mistreat anyone. I will not work in that environment either. It's unnecessary and uncalled for. I would like to add in my 30+ year career it has never happened. I hope it never does but being transparent and upfront hopefully prevents it.
